History
Cash-Wa started out in 1934 delivering candy to local neighborhood grocery stores in Kearney, Nebraska. Harvey Henning started peddling for Cash-wa Candy Company when he was 17 years old. Peddling his bicycle around town to take and deliver orders. After his service in WWII, Harvey became a full time employee of Cash-Wa and in 1957 he purchased the company.
Since that time the company has remained privately owned by
the Henning family with 2nd and 3rd generation family members playing significant roles in Cash-Wa's continued success. The company has grown to include 3 complete
distribution centers and several sales offices with representatives serving all
or part of 9 Great Plains States.
We still embrace Harvey's original conviction that if we just remember that we are here to serve our customers we will succeed.
